Our creek bottoms and tree claims offer great habitat for our pheasant population.
If it snows the grouse and prairie chickens are easy to find. If not we go out in the high hills and walk the bowls.
Certain times of the year are prime for the ducks and geese. The ducks like the creek when its not frozen over and the geese like the lakes and open meadows.
Certain times of the year the turkeys are moving though. Spring hunting is usually the best.
Early in the season the doves are thick in our sunflowers.
